Hi, I’m Zac.
I build and improve websites for service-area businesses, B2B services, and trades. Sometimes that means starting fresh. Sometimes it means making a good existing site clearer and easier to use, so customers can decide whether you’re right for them and get in touch.
I also do volunteer work. I rebuilt the website and local presence for Waltham Cooperative Playgroup, and during Hurricane Helene I stood up a relief site in under 48 hours to help families find supply and service information.
I work independently through ZacWine.com, so clients work directly with me. I stay close to the strategy and the implementation instead of handing the work through layers. When a project genuinely needs another specialty, I can bring in a collaborator rather than pretending I should do everything myself.
What I’m useful for
Most client work starts in one of two places: a business needs a new website, or the site it has is worth keeping but needs focused improvement. I’d rather make the smaller fix when it’s the right one.
If fixing the site also means sorting out search, ads, local listings, forms, or tracking, I can handle that too. You don’t need to sort that out before getting in touch.

How I work
I stay directly involved in the work and try to understand the problem before prescribing a channel or tactic.
I use AI-assisted tools where they make the work faster. I’m still responsible for the decisions and the finished result: structure, messaging, design, priorities, review, and communication.
Measurement matters to me, but I only want to make claims the data can support. I also try to keep tools, reporting, and process as simple as the work allows. Complexity should earn its place.
