Useful referrals start with knowing where the work belongs.

I work mainly with owner-led service businesses on the website and the demand path around it, including the related work that helps those pieces work together.

Some client needs primarily belong to another specialty. This page is for consultants, agencies, operators, and specialists who occasionally run into that overlap and want a simple way to make useful introductions in either direction.

A useful introduction

When to refer someone to me

I am usually most useful when the business is sound but the website or path from interest to inquiry is not keeping up.

  • The business has outgrown its website, or the site no longer explains a strong business clearly.
  • People are reaching the site, but the path from interest to inquiry is weak, confusing, or easy to abandon.
  • The existing website is worth keeping, but something important is broken or getting in the way.
  • A focused landing page is needed for a service, offer, or campaign.
  • Tracking, forms, search visibility, local presence, or paid traffic are creating a practical website or demand-path problem.
  • The owner needs someone to figure out what actually needs fixing before committing to a rebuild or a larger marketing project.

Adjacent specialties

Work I may refer to someone else

These are common examples, not a closed list. They are simply areas that come up naturally around the work I do.

Brand strategy & identity

This is for cases where the brand itself needs to be solved before the website can express it properly: positioning, naming, visual identity, brand systems, or substantial repositioning. I still design websites and work on service-page and offer messaging. The boundary is broader upstream brand definition, not website design.

CRM, sales operations & lifecycle systems

This is work primarily involving the machinery after a lead reaches the business: broad CRM architecture or implementation, sales pipelines, complex automation, lifecycle systems, or full sales-operations work. I may still handle forms, intake, basic lead routing, follow-up structure, and tracking when those support a website or marketing engagement.

Business operations & fractional leadership

Sometimes the main problem is inside how the business operates rather than in its website or demand path. That can include fractional COO work, internal operating systems, team and process design, delivery operations, capacity problems, workflow problems, or broader operational consulting.

Original creative production

This is specialist production of original assets such as photography, video, illustration, or other custom visual work. I can still own website design, layout, asset selection, and how creative material is used across a site or campaign.

How introductions work

A normal email introduction is enough. Include whatever context seems useful, and I will take it from there.

If I do not think I am the right fit, I will say so. There is no expectation that every introduction turns into work, and no expectation that every referral is reciprocated.

Fit and trust come first

I make introductions when I think someone is a good fit, and I appreciate professionals who do the same. I do not track referrals one-for-one or treat reciprocity as something owed.

There is no paid placement, and I do not pay or accept commissions for introductions.
